Nacho SS vs. Doritos of CP In Battle Of Summit

SUMMIT, Contested Doritos Nation – On March 31st, a US battle was held between the Nacho SS and the Doritos Army for the Dorito capital of Summit. The battle was one that led to many controversy between the armies.

The Club Penguin Army Community have this week viewed the ongoing war between the Nacho Army and the Doritos Army. The Nacho SS, a brother army of the Nachos but in every way different has also declared war on the Doritos. SM Army Press actually covered the Nacho SS declaration of war. In that post, the army gave the full 24 hours notice needed to invade.

The 24 hour rule states that an army has to post to their blog 24 hours prior to logging onto another armies server to invade it otherwise the invasion is invalid. The Nacho SS followed this rule to the letter giving 24 hours notice of their invasion of Summit, DCP Capital.

As you can see, the Nacho SS are in red and black while the DCP are in orange. The Doritos knew about this invasion and therefore made the effort to log on their troops but only got four troops online at the start of the invasion. The Nacho SS started the battle with quick fire tactics upon DCP’s entrance while the Doritos in turn focused on getting their troops logged on to defend Summit.

The battle continued with the Doritos getting more and more troops on while the Nacho SS got some more too. While the start and majority of the middle of the battle was clearly in the favour of the Nacho SS in terms of tactics and size, it became closer before ending.

The armies fought hard in rooms like the Town, Cove, Forts and Berg. Leader Talex made this event summary on the Nacho SS official blog:

At the beginning of the battle we initially took the Cove, with no DCP resistance. We then moved our force to the Town to assault a small DCP group, after defeating them we pushed into the Forts, then to the Berg-  where DCPfailed to resist our attacks. At this point we returned to the Town, only to find a feeble resistance  from DCP. Overall we had an average of 13 soldiers on CP, with a max of around 15.

Doritos didn't want to follow the invaders.

Doritos didn’t want to follow the invaders.

Yet another basic rule of an invasion is that the defenders follow the invaders. Due to the small sizes in the Town, the DCP didn’t want to move and decided to stay in the Town and regroup. The Nacho SS then decided to launch one final assault on the Dorito Army by running into the Town with 12 troops while the DCP had finally got more online now with 10.

The Nacho SS also invaded Cove in the battle. During the battle, the Nacho SS won the rooms Cove and Forts due to no defence from DCP. The disputed battle was over the room of the Town which the Nacho SS went to twice, both times being bigger than the Doritos.

The Doritos of CP chose not to post this event on their official blog which is why this post lacks pictures of DCP tactics. I tried to speak to 32op, Doritos second in command about this issue in which he just stated simply – “We lost our capital?”

Since 32op went offline, I decided to speak to Talex who exclaimed that the Doritos of CP have been multilogging in the later part of the event. Talex also provided me with the picture you see above with the Nacho SS exclaiming “THANKS FOR THE SERVER”.

The main argument that Talex made was that many of the DCP troops have got standard non-member uniforms that people get upon making new accounts. Examples of this is Coolranch7, the first person from the left of the chatbar and the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th person in the chatbar.

The chatbar line is a good formation for hiding the names of troops online. That could also explain why the Doritos didn’t want to move during the battle. From start to finish, they remained on the chatbar line in the Town. The troop of Coolranch7 however didn’t fit on the chatbar line so we decided to look on the DCP ranks page for that troop.

As you can see from the above picture that can be enlarged by clicking on it, Coolranch7, a DCP troop that looks fairly new in the army is nowhere to be found on the Dorito ranks page. Furthermore Coolranch7 is wearing non-member items that are available to new Club Penguin members as are many other people at the event.

Nothing has been confirmed yet about whether or not the Doritos did indeed multilog and it’s still an ongoing investigation that CPAWM will gladly accept any new information about.

What do YOU think? Will the Doritos be able to get their capital back from the Nacho SS? Did the Doritos multilog in the event?
